Issues is an advanced course designed for students of English at B2, B2+ and C1 levels of language proficiency (compatible with CERF descriptions of language skills). It predominantly focuses on strengthening reading and speaking skills at the advanced level by reviewing, introducing, systematically practicing, and thoroughly consolidating vocabulary to further reinforce the effectiveness of speaking and use of English skills in advanced students. Issues is suitable for classroom use as well as for self-study, thus promoting learner autonomy in language learning, and providing a rich resource for individual work on language and skills improvement. Topics presented in the course provide an in-depth insight into current major aspects of everyday life, all supplemented by plentiful up-to-date vocabulary task content with a view to the frequency and usefulness of the lexis for advanced students.

The electronic form of the course makes it easy to use on any electronic device – a tablet, a smartphone, a laptop or a desktop computer. All words, sentences and texts used in the course have been translated into Polish, and each word and sentence has been recorded in Standard British and General American.
