The Phrasal Verbs module consists of an alphabetically arranged dictionary of phrasal verbs containing more than 1,800 popular phrasal verbs (almost 3,000 meanings) with examples of each meaning and exercises. The dictionary entries and example sentences are translated into Polish. English equivalents of each headword are also provided.
The exercises include four types: general exercises, which involve inserting words from the list into the gaps using the drag-and-drop technique; keyword exercises, which are a variation of the general exercises, in which all the examples involve a single verb in relation to different partitives; collocation exercises, which involve inserting words from the list into the gaps to form a collocation with all the words in the example; paraphrase exercises, which involve inserting words from the list into the gaps in sentences A to form sentences B with a meaning equal to that of A.
ALL THE EXAMPLES IN THE DICTIONARY SECTION AND THE ANSWERS IN THE EXERCISE SECTION HAVE BEEN RECORDED IN STANDARD BRITISH AND GENERAL AMERICAN AND CAN BE PLAYED BACK.
